    stud patten

    i have just got hold of some skoda/audi alloys 18", some one told me they might fit an astra mk5 how do i find wot the stud patten is on the wheels?

    it depends on what the wheels are exactly.

    the older audi's were 5x110 (which would fit) but the newer ones on the a3 for example was a 5x112 (which wont fit - not without wobbly bolts)

    not according to alloyguide.co.uk - older Audi's were 5 x 100. Centre bore is smaller as well, 57.1mm so you'd have to enlarge its diameter by 8 mm by taking approx 4 mm off the lip all the way round.

    A set of tuner bolts (or "wobbly bolts") will allow you to fit newer audi wheels (5x112) and costs around £30-£40 for a set of 20. even the newer wheels will need you to enlarge the centre bore though.

    the size wobbly bolts you'd need will be M12x1.5, 28mm thread length

    thanks guys, i have try'd those wheels and they dont fit so i have sold now. im looking for some different wheels now. thanks for the answers though guys.
