    Hazards won't stop flashing...

    Hi all,

This morning my car has started flashing the hazards constantly when the ignition is not on. Switch the ignition on and all works as it should.

Anybody had any experience of this before? All other electrics seem to be ok.

Car is a year 2000 2.0 sri btw

    Thanks

    Welcome mate

Not heard of this but the first thing i'd try is removing the hazard switch incase it has a internal fault

thanks for the reply. I had a play with it this afternoon and removed the switch but it made no difference. All that seems to stop it is to either remove the fuse or the relays. All I can think of is it might be either related to the alarm/immobiliser or maybe some strange fault with the multi timer

Try unplugging the control unit for the alarm/ locking in the drivers kickpanel next then

Cheers will give that a go in the morning. Would the car still be driveable with it unplugged or would that immobilise the car?
