    New Rear Lights and Coilovers

Thought I'd post a quick update of a couple of changes I've made in the last month.

First off I managed to get my hands on a set of the Brazilian Saloon rear lights that a member on here had imported some time back. I picked these up from the classifieds on here from PauloCardyo. Got to give him a hell of a lot of praise for replying so quickly and sorting a next day courier out so I had them the day before PVS! A pleasure to deal with, I alway think we dwell on bad traders when those who go all out to make something happen don't get enough praise.

I'd been after a set of these or the Lexmaul lights since i started changing the rear of my car. I was unsure as to whether I'd prefer them over the Lexmaul items as they aren't tinted. However as soon as I got them on i was delighted with how they look really lift the whole rear of the car. A couple of people commented that it made the rear look a lot more modern.

Quick comparison shot taken mid way through fitting them on Friday night at PVS:

Next change was a set of JOM Coilovers from LMF. I'd always been interested in going lower but didn't need a top of the market track ready setup. On the other hand I didn't want to get a set of Racelands after hearing a few horror stories aswell as a mate of mine ruining a couple of rear shocks on them.

A mate of mine fitted them one evening and we wound them down until there was no arch gap on the rear and much the same at the front. Not the best pics as the drives on a slant but gives a decent impression of the ride height. Currently debating what do do with the rear. With the 20mm spacers on each side it does rub on bad roads etc. This isn't the end of the world but for events like Billing and PVS i want to be able to load the car up so I may try and move the wheels in 10mm on each side to see if this improves things.

A few pics below aswell as one with both rear lights:

The plates are from Regal but are just Dubmeister plates. I've got a personalised plate on order so will probably just go direct via Dubmeister next time.

The lights were the next step in tidying up the rear. It was my least favourite part of the coupe to begin with. Slowly but surely getting there now, although every step seems to open up more ideas.

Taken the 20mm spacers off tonight. Not keen on the look without them so currently tossing up buying some 15mm ones or getting the 20mm ones machined. Just worried I'll buy 15mm ones and it'll still scrub this wasting £60.

Ditch the rear spacers and drop that rear a little... nice rears too and a bargain if u bought them for under £200.
