Astra Coupe Bertone: Does it have ESP?

I want to buy an Astra Coupe Bertone but I want to know how can I find out if it has or not ESP? (Of course, without driving it to its limits ). The actual owner doesn't know for sure if it has or not. Is there any light on the dash that I should look for? If you have a pic, that would be awesome. Thanks!

    first of all

All coupes are Bertone so tell us what engine u mean

    1.6, 1.8, 2.0 Turbo or 2.2

All will have Traction Control bar the 1.6

Ive only ever known 2.0 T models to have ESP, and not all of them have the ESP light on the dash, some just have the regular TC

Im fairly sure that ESP models have a different master cylinder as well as a few additional electrical components compared to the regular TC equipped models

It is the 1.8 125hp engine. I think 2001 is the production year.

it might not have it, but without testing, you wont know. In all fairness, i've found that esp doesn't do all that much in the way of helping, id rather have TC all day long

Well, I don't know much in practice about ESP and TC. I only saw them in theory, videos and so on. But, ESP seems to help you by braking independently your wheels when you go into a corner with too much speed and you are on the point to oversteer or understeer. TC should help you on winter, preventing your traction wheels to spin freely and loosing grip. This is what I know.

Anyway, I don't understand why Opel (Vauxhall) wants to somehow hide the fact that a car has TC or ESP. Golf and Focus have designed buttons for turning TC or ESP on/off and dash light for both of them.
