Good evening folks,
I've got the car coming back from the bodyshop shortly and as expected, the wide kit is going to make my wheels look ridiculous...
Here's what I mean :
My question is...
- Should I get wheel spacers to bring the wheels from the arches and as flush to the kit as possible? Advantages are the kits including bolts are approx. £300. Disadvantages are that I've heard it can ruin the coupe's handling?!?!? Anyone had experience of this?
- Buy new alloys and tyres with a different offset that keeps the wheel centre original but with some sort of deep-dish that naturally sits out further from the car.... Advantages are (I've been told) that it won't affect handling as much. Disadvantages are the cost of buying new wheels after just 100miles on the existing ones
What do you guys think? I'm currently at £6k since January so I'm a little wary of splashing out more without checking in with you guys for advice
Thanks as always,
