    astra kicking out white smoke

    my 1.6 astra club kicking out white smoke wen u leave it ticking over for 5 mins and rev it it kicks out white smoke and stinks of oil burning has any one know wat this cud b ????

    It sounds like it could be head gaskit mate
    Astra Gsi full miltek catback , tx enlarged top hat and boost pipe with Baileys dump valve , cdti air box

    Check your oil filler cap for any white residue to be sure about head gasket failure

    i been told that it might b the vavles and oil seals mite have gone the headgaket is fine its lyk smoke if its burningd sumat

    blue smoke usually points to stem seals. Check that your oil isn't going down, also check for oil in water, water in oil. or even piston rings. get a compression test done
