    Smile If i bought a chra

    I have come across a chra on ebay and need a new turbo how easy are they to fit ive taken off the inlet side before but not the exhuast side isit easy to do???

    basically its the turbine section froma turbo from what i recall.

    edit:

    its the turbo center housing rotating assembly

    so is this part everything but the inlet and manifold?

    if it is then its not too hard to fit, probably easier taking the whole manifold and turbo assembly off the car to get better access to the 4 bolts that hold it in. be carefull not to round these buggers off as theres not alot of space even with it off the car.

    in fact.. there s ahow too somewhere that show the ful turbo being stripped down and rebuilt iirc..

    im pretty sure that would give you the info you would need to do this..

    Also interested in knowing this as i may buy 1 myself be cheaper than sending it off to turbodynamics for example
