    Opcom on my mk4

Just a few questions, how the hell do you work it???????????????

I loaded it up fine, noticed that it doesn't read the ecu on can mode so i pressed the kwp2000 button. all fine.

Get this page up no bother

soon as i click diagnostics i get the page up, and i can read the 50 or so measuring blocks, and also read the fault codes. i have none so that's fine.

Question is how can i recode keys? alter the mileage if there is a reason to do so, and all the other cool features this thing is supposed to do. i can't find the page that asks for your car pass etc......anyone got any pics or tell me how to do this?

I did see a box with EEPROM but i didn't click it for fear of the unknown....help

Seen that guide, see where it says on page 2 "when you open up the immobiliser....."

How do you get to the menu after that? i can see the measuring blocks with the arrows next to it, but i presume it isn't previous or next block as that takes you to the next page, and the clear fault codes just takes you back to the fault code page.

So how do i get into that menu?

Basically you can search for your car manually rather than auto identification. You can then select different areas of the car rather than just the engine.

Ah, i have been selecting auto identification. i did try manually and managed to find z20let but never had time to have another look around as the wife was getting bored

anyone know what menu the mileage correction is in? i managed to find the service interval menu. I vaguely remember seeing a menu with chassis, and a few other categories but can't remember what they were.

Also what does the EEPROM button do? i am a noob with this so any info very much appreciated

I believe mileage correction is in the instrumentation menu iirc. The EEPROM button allows you to backup and write to your eeprom. Thinking about it now the mileage correction may actually be there.
