    Cool handbrake diffrance or not?

i own a mk4 hatchback and have got a mk4 coupe 888 handbrake garter and handbrake sleave.
i fitted it 2day but it seams like its a bit sort.
is the handbrake leaver for a coupe different to that of the hatchback and is it possible to swap them over as my mate said he knows were a guy has one 4 sale.
any help would be gert lush

    thats what i thought.
when i look at a 888 the garter is loose onit like the origail one on mine was.
fited both n when down the material is very tight and comes outa sides n pulls off the end of the handbrake sleeve , also frm the 888.
im not sure if the shaft on the coupe is diff to the hatch so the sleeve can go further back.

You're either fitting the 'gaitors' wrong (I did first time around, the handbrake one kept getting caught when I put the handbrake on which lifters the gaitor off the mount) or they are faulty and need returned.
