Right so the situation is on a 307 HDI 2.0.
The indicator sticks had broken on the car and this is a whole unit....So the steering wheel was taken off and airbag etc.....
Indicator unit replaced and all put back together and the car must have been turned back on too quickly which leads to the airbag fault light coming on, but thats not the main problem.
THE HORN DOESNT WORK!! So the airbag was taken off and the steering wheel inspected again and checked the contacts and couldnt find anything else wrong with it but no sound.
I checked the fuses and they were fine, so the airbag was taken off again and i realised that the wire which connected too the contacts had snapped. So am i right in thinking if i just get a new steering wheel that i should be able just to fit this in and for the horn to work again.
As for the airbag fault light guess thats a trip to the dealer eh?
