    OE DV Blocked off??

    Hi, i bought my car with a dump valve already on it. How do i find out f the guy before blocked off the OE one?

    have a look if theres a one way valve fitted in the vac line off the valve. if not then you'll have to take it apart to be sure theres not a blanking plate in it, ull need a cut down 5mm alan key to get to one of the cap heads, not a hard job to take it off and have a look.
    while its off u might aswell check the rubber diaphram on it just to be sure its still ok as they've been known to split

    also for a quick check you could put a bit of vac pipe to oe dv and suck it (lol) and you will hear it open if it hasnt got the spacer and if it dosnt open (move) then posible you have a spacer in it.but best way to check is how richleeson said.

    Ok had a look an dno where im looking lol. There is a blue vac line coming from the top of my dump valve, an connects to a t-piece under the air box. Is it under there?

    look down at ur turbo..

    on the left u will see a nipple sticking out.. thats the OEM DV conection..

    connect a pipe to that and suck..
