New member - Astra F van

Hi, picking a old banger of a Astra F van which Im gona be sharing with my Dad, needs abit of work but he's happy for it to be untidy and shed like.... Im not lol

Its a 1.7 Diesel van on a P, so probally not the most exciting car thats ever graced this forum but Im hoping it will bring back happy memories of my Nova SR look-a-like I had when I was at collage many moons ago

Looking fwd to doing quite a few before and after pic threads, not looking to spend alot of money just tidying up really, maybe set of GSi alloys and grill if it'll fit a later model.

and thats about it really look fwd to taking part in the community

Welcome to the form good sir, from a fellow Mk3'er, Take a look at my biography (link at bottom) and it might give you some ideas. I must ask though, what engine is fitted to the van, as it depends on what you can do engine wise. And unless you got a set of GSI alloys, you will probably find they are like rocking horse poo covered in dodo feathers to get hold of in good condition.
Probably the ONLY Astra Mk3 sitting on Corsa D SXI rims!
And Now a Diesel on Discs all round!

Its only gona be a workhorse so pretty much getting the bodywork as tidy as I can without spending a fortune, set of OE Vauxhall alloys and maybe so engine detailing... On a diesel? Hell yeah lol

Quite alot of work done there, seems alot of panel chainging lol

Ride height and wheels make for a nice combo

aye, quite abit of work gone on there for sure. engine detail on a diesel. damn right!

At least having a tidy workhorse is something, but like i said, do you know what engine is in it. the one you want is the Isuzu engine, same as mine, virtually bullet proof and can be modded to get over 100bhp out of them where as the GM diesel is poo, and will blow up if you go anywhere near it
