I doubt this will be a sensible discussion but I am finding the people of this country getting worse and worse when it comes to Liability, blame and general responsibility for themselves.
On the first page of Chit chat alone I have just read several topics regarding the following:
A dropped ipod in a bucket of water in tesco - some of the advice is to blame Tesco
Tribunals at work - for rights that have not been given - which people are going to court over
Job Offer - paying less than the minimum wage on job not even taken - and advice is given on reporting them.
Is just me that thinks take some responsibility for yourself and your decisions and actions?
I find it massively frustrating that today people need to blame someone for a slight wrong doing. At times its just general responsibility and people looking to blame someone else for their own stupidity. If you dont like something move on, you have the freedom to move on and look back, but it seems these days people are more likely to then look back and see what money they can get from it. IMO its just wrong.
Generally these people are the first people to moan about a recession as well, but with all these so called 'rights' in place, there is no wonder the country is in recession it must cost business and the government millions in paying people off.
I could go on all day about it I just find it massively difficult to understand the mentality of this country at times, and the younger generations to me are getting worse and worse.
**This is not aimed at anyone in particular - so please dont take me to court for expressing my views - I have no money so you wont get a pay out!**
