Does new pioneer stereos now suport wheel control?

I was looking at pioneer page, since i tought i should by new cd player, and i saw that they support "Hard-wired Remote Input" when i click to see what is that it say
The Hard Wired Remote input allows you to connect the receiver directly to your car’s own steering wheel remote control.

You can then control your receiver with the steering wheel remote control.
now it say directly (that would mean no adapter then), i didnt remove my factory stereo so i dont know how does remote input on astra g looks like,i hope someone know's (and that he will upload some picture), and here is picture of this stereo here you go

Does anyone recognize astra's remote input on this cd-player? Does it mean that we can from now on use wheel remote controls with no adapter? Anyone

and yes, here is the link of that cd-player

No that will still need a adaptor. Pioneer would need to make 100's of different headunits for each car out there

Ahh dam, but tell me this then, when i start looking for new cd-player, if i want to keep my wheel controls, does my cd-player need to have that hard wire remote input so that adapter can work with it?
