i would say in 1 word no, you would be better of just buying a set of decent spring

so would you just change the springs or the complete set up? if just the springs will the standard shocks be ok? they seem to be in good condition.

as always on a tight budget!!!!!

if you put the eibach springs on the standard shocks you should feel loads of difference ad theres no need to change them if there in good nick. if you do need to change the shocks too ive just done mine to the bilstein b4 which are a great budget shock and are well worth the money.

Rather than cheap coilovers i have opted for Koni FSD shock on standard springs for my turbo project car,and although new i have colour coded to match the car
perhaps i should have got some ebach 30mm lowering springs,(hate it too low)

especially on my kei force 10 18inch rims.
in my opinion, you normally have good standard shocks, simply put a good set of lowering springs on (but don't go too low, you will bottom the shockers over bumps)

and unless you are prepared to pay for the higher range of coilovers leave them alone
    Hope i've helped
    Kindest Paula

i also looked at this kit for my astra, i take it by the reply's that they are shaite?!
so does the same rules apply to an astra? buy springs but thers no real need to change the shocks?
its an 08 plate so i can imaginge that the shocks are in good nick!
