    Intercooler - spraying

    Hi ppl

    Ive noticed a couple of VAG owners spraying the VW sign on there Golf turbo intercoolers, is this possible with a Vauxhall intercooler, if so what paint is best to use and has anyone done it

    why? it would look tacky, and can block up the fins stopping airflow through the cooler, resulting in a hotter engine and poss problems

    Hammerite spray is good, just make sure you hold it away so you dnt get build up HTH

    dont mind at all mate.

    This is mine done black. Just used normal halfords gloss black. Was going to use something else but didnt want it too thick. The comments about it blocking the fins are rubbish too provided you dont go nuts with the paint.

    *Ignore the red pipes. they are now black but Ive got no idea where the pics have gone
    It would definitely go better with an engine in it
