    astra keyfob

    I recently bought an astra on a s plate and the remote fob wont unlock the car

    i've changed the battrey for a newun and still not working, the red light flashes tho,

    Any ideas?

    did it work before you changed the battery?

    you can try putting key in the ignition turn it onto no 2 when dash lights displayed, and pressed the buttons on the key, that should sort it but if that dont work you may need to get it recoded to the car mate

    no it dident mate, would it be much to recode it, do i have to go to vauxhall?

    i have had this exact problem mate but it wont lock or unlock and the light on fob flashes , car battery is fine and i have replaced fob battery

    unfortunatly you will have to pay vauxhall a visit, unless you know someone with opcom or a tech 2

    had same hassel with mine
    i changed box down under the drivers kick well today with one from local scrappies got the key fob aswell and worked straight away so my guess is that the box under kick panel is goosed
