    What gearbox for big power?

Another Q for my up coming rebuild! What gearbox would be best F23 with lsd or M32 with lsd?currently running m32 with diff in it at approx 300bhp but am hoping to push it to around 450.

Heard bad stories about the F23 but also know people running them with big power.

Jonny with his gsi was running 450bhp IIRC with one
astragsi is running 420bhp with one.

Ateeur broke 3 with his zafira around the 450-500bhp mark but runs a M32 now but all were hardend

Im running a M32 aswell but not running mahoosive power.

Mines just a standard F23 and its doing just fine, survived several track sessions and 1/4 mile runs.

Personally ide stick on a F23 for the price of them if it does go wrong.

F23 every time, cheap to replace and there proven to run more power than the m32 so far.

i dont really understand picking an f23 over an m32 box for anything else but money saving...cos as far as i can make out the m32 is a stronger box and copes with power better than the f23...but thats only what i have read so proof will be in the eating...
if you have an m32 i dont see the point in buying an f23 to replace it with you may as well run the m32 until it fails..

if my f23 goes ill buy a replacement f23, not because its cheaper and easier, personally i much prefere a 5 speed box over a 6 speed box.

can see where your coming from with 5 speed box but is great having a 6th gear especially for longer journeys makes a noticable difference in consumption on motorway
