    Wheel hub changed...wht next

    Hi Guys,

My 1.6 G has very rough grinding/rumble coming from the front drivers side wheel that is gets worse with speed regardless of whether the car is in gear or not. This groaning gets better when turning right and worse when turning left - I suspected the drivers side wheel bearing so finally got round to replacing the hub with an ebay hub assembly.

After taking it for a drive the noise is still exactlt the same . Any help would be appreciated - what next to try? Possibly the CV joint on that side??

    Thanks
