Last night the car wouldn't start and the EML light was flashing. read up that it was the immobiliser. I took the 2 ECU plugs off for about 15 mins and the car started up when I put them back on.
Gone to it just now and it's flashing again and won't start.
the top ECU loom was resting alongside the EGR valve and melted it enough for one of the wires to be shorting to earth.
