    CD30 (MP3) Bluetooth

Hi guys, apart from Parrot or aftermarket bluetooth kits, can bluetooth be added as a function to this headunit?

you can retro fit the factory bluetooth.

you need the UHP4 module, mic and some loom making, you also need a GID or a CID display.

for all of this your looking at about £400 thats if you by the module new the GID could be picked up pretty cheaply. its the standard screen that comes with climate control. the CID is the colour screen.

I have a factory CD30 (not mp3) and it came with bluetooth factory fit so it is possible, that has the bluethooth incorporated into the display as a picture of a phone and is operated by the steeringwheel controls.

    Hope this helps a little

james, i'm running the following set up
    http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...7C14419562.htm
and the following set contains all you need to change it
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWNX:IT
all done for £90, the wharfedale unit is similar spec to the CD30 and you can plug ipod etc into it as well as a SD memory card! the system is simple to use, although the idiots giving reviews on the argos page say its complicated to pair your phone with it, it took me a few seconds after reading the manual!!!
