Question Airbag light on, code is 00035

Recently got an Astra LS and as the title says, the airbag light is on. The opcom shows this: "00035 - Driver Pretensioner Circuit High Resistance"
    "Present"
Any tips on what exactly needs fixing and/or replacing? Is it maybe a loose wire? The code will not clear as the fault is present.

    Thanks.

The pretensioner will be the drivers seat part of the airbag system that goes to the seatbelt buckle. It could be loose wires under the seat

Sorry just did a search about the airbag light and came across this. My airbag light came on the other day, but then when i left the car parked for couple of hours, came back, and drove all the way home then to work the next day, it never came on again. However its just come on again this afternoon.

So could this be loose wires under the seat? What do they look like?

    Thanks

Definately sounds like a loose connection.

Just to let you know while the airbag light is on the system is disabled and wont pass an MOT

If you've not got heated seats or side airbags then there will be one plug that should be connected checks this connection

I've just had a look at a set of Vectra seats and on the seat connector block the pre-tensioner cable has a green plug on it, the yellow cable and plug is for side airbags

You might find that the cable might of got caught is the seat slider

is it obvious? because ive had a look and am a little confused. If im looking under the seat from the front footwell, will it be on the back/front or one of the sides, top or bottom ?
