Fault codes read but what to fix??

    HI Chaps

my 2001 astra 2.0 di has been playing up, EML light on, rev counter stops looses power, then fixes itself, but the other day it died, but restarted, i've read the fault codes but dont know what to actually fix on the car,

P0704 - CLUTCH SWITCH INPUT CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION
    P1220 CRITICAL SYSTEM MALFUNCTION
    P1631 INJECTION PUMP MALFUNCTION
P0725 ENGINE SPEED SENSOR INPUT CIRCUIT INCORRECT SIGNAL - NOT PRESENT
P1335 INJECTION PUMP NO ENGINE SPEED INPUT SIGNAL FROM CONTROL UNIT
    P0400 CRITICAL SYSTEM MALFUNCTION

I've deleted the codes to see what comes back after a drive but no errors from running at idle and revving on the drive

    thanks for advice

    Ray

Good luck with it. Looks also on the list EGR valve, and the clutch switch.

I paid £26 for mine the other day with a 3 year warranty although then again it is for a 1.7 not a 2.0

Ray, did you use the part from eBay I posted here? Seemed that there are two fitments with the difference being that the mounting brackets are on opposite sides of the plug...

    Glad it's sorted!
