    aircon leak

    i have a very small aircon leak in my 2.0 dti estate is there an easy way to fix it like a can of something

    there is tins of a/c leak sealer and gas top up but it would need to be a VERY small leak for it to work im told, where is the leak ? on the condenser?

    had to have a regas and was told there was a leak but was so small he could not see it so he put some green dye in and told me it should last a few months so i can not tell you where it is or how big he told me to ring him when it stopped working

    prepare for a potentially messy engine bay lol! that dye can go EVERYWHERE

    had a mobile repair guy come to my house he checked it and said i had a leak but could not find it as it was so small he then said that they normaly put some dye in with the regas and use some glasses and uv light to find leak and asked me if that was ok so i said yes if thats what was needed so he did it and that was that he left saying see how it went and give him a call when it stopped working the company was

    so thought i would look for a sealer of some sort to fix it

    this is also very true! can lose his refrigerant handling cert for that
