The New Vauxhall Movano.....finally a decent sized van ..... but...

Finally Vauxhall have seen the light and released a larger van that is usable for my work. So I have been on the configurator spec'd up what I need

    BUT its £30,321.70 !!!

Thats VW Crafter and Merc Sprinter money!

    The spec I want:

New Movano RWD HD Panel Van,
    L4 3500 HD, 3500, 2.3CDTI 16v 150 (Euro 4),
    Manual 6-speed
    RWD Starting RRP £28,376.70
    Halo Silver£420.00
    Grey Pulse cloth£0.00
    16-inch steel wheels with 235/65 R 16 front tyres and 195/75 R 16 rear tyres£0.00
    Lighting Pack (RWD models only)£245.00
    Office Pack£465.00
    Full-height plywood load lining panels - L4£550.00
    Rear parking distance sensors£265.00
    TOTAL options£1,945.00
    TOTAL accessories£0.00
    TOTAL RRP£30,321.70

Thats a lot of money for a vauxhall van IMO Looks cool though:

Looks better than the last one. Old one seemed a bit of a flop though, hardly ever see them on the road.

Are the tyre sizes the wrong way round? Its rear wheel drive, yet has wide tyres on the front, and tiny ones on the rear

I think the long wheel base is a twin wheel on the rear Dave

Your never going to get a T5 thats the size of a movano though.....

They know how to charge well for park sensors and ply lining!!

i've heard really bad storys about the big VWs tbh

very very poor fuel eco, eating clutches and gear box's and most not even working right straight from dealer.
i dont think i've actually heard a good story about the bigger VW vans

re the vaux ... how many panels of ply are they expecting to use in the back of that thing?! nice van though
