    From growing to eaten in 30 minutes

    Had our first cropping of our Rhubarb today.

    From growing in the garden, boiled gently, in a crumble (Made by my great cooking wife) and in my belly took less than 30 minutes

    Cant get much fresher than that

    Glad you enjoyed it fella. Cannot stand the stuff myself yet I like rhubarb/custard sweets

    got loads of 'barb this year. making about a crumble a week atm and have doen for the last 6 weeks lol

    Also growing: Strawberrys, Tomatoes, Spuds, Runner Beans, Peppers, Cucmbers, Corghettes (sp), Onions in atm.

    Gonna get some lettuce and other leavy salad growing at the weekend too

    Great fun spending time in the garden

    We have Parsnips well on the go from late last year, strawberry in hanging baskets (Not that many), red onions, new potatoes, normal potatoes and lettuce at the moment.
