    Parts Wanted section for AOC

This really would be handy, all people need is a bit of common sense when it comes to buying parts and they are not going to get ripped off!

Thought Id make a poll anyway, see what most people want.

We did have one and loads of people got scammed. If the amount of people getting scammed drops then i dont think we will ever have a wanted section again

Then maybe something more secure should be set in place. its not impossible TBH people can express what they are selling and what they are looking for. In the end. people only moan when people say where do i get this and where do i get that. All people do is moan saying search search search. People just need to use theyre wits.... The warnings were there.

Then there cant be anyone on here with a bit of common sense? Posting a wanted ad is no different to buying something in the for sale section, be sure to ask for pictures of the item, and get every detail you can about the seller, name, address, phone numbers. And remember that if its too good to be true, then it probably is!

Well everyones right. I see no harm in a wanted section. AOC takes no responsibilities. They should'nt But some people dont have much common sence and some do... thats life.

Ebay is a self contract site where you agree to rules with your own money through paypal but people still get scammed.. Do you really think you can sell or buy anything without having scammers there ...No.

Would be good if you could post wanted threads in your region so you can collect then there's no way to be scammed.

Another point is dont pay with anything else other than paypal, unless you are collecting the item yourself. Don't fall into the paypal "gift" trap either, be sure to always send your money as a normal transaction. If anything goes wrong, paypal will usually get your money back.

You'd really really think that, but there was huge discussion over the removal of the wanted section, as, without being shy, stack loads of people who got scammed however much common sense you wish to apply to a situation.

To my knowledge it won't be coming back.
