    Mk4 Aerial base replacment

As subject the rubber gasket on the base of my aerial is starting to crack.

I can remember reading a post where someone had replaced this for an aftermarket one with a couple of modifications.

Can anyone point in the right direction of one from EBay / another mail order source?

    Thanks in advance

Cool that's the thread I was thinking of, although none of the EBay link work

I suppose I might have to contact http://car-masts-uk.com/ unless there are some on EBay.

Edit I take it these are the ones Clicky ?

Very easy to do, make sure you so a bit of testing after, I used some silicone on mine just to be sure and its all nice and snug now, it even forced me round to buying a "dremel" and now I cant wait to find other things to do with it.

I just used silicone sealant on mine. The rubber was all split so covered the whole thing in sealant and it's working a treat!
