ZLET & ZLEH throttle body differences

could anyone tell me the difference between these 2 and if its possible to rework the setup on a zlet to fit a zleh TB

basically i snapped up a brand new VXR TB and it arrived today, on closer inspection its obvious that the coolant/vac hose setup is different.

on the LET one i believe theres 2 copper pipes for the coolant whereas the VXR one only has the 1

i havent stripped down my old one yet to confirm but heres a few pics from LMF and their enlarged ones so u can see what i mean.

In essence, is there any workaround i can do in order to fit this VXR one onto my LET. The engine is coming out this weekend for a few months so any major work needed for this could in theory be done.

    Any help appreciated

    TIA

Hi, all you need to do is join the coolant pipes that would normally attach to the Z20LET throttle body together and everything else is fine. That is assuming the VXR one you have bought has come off an Astra or Zafira, if it's from a Corsa VXR it'll be missing the vacuum take off connection as well.
    Hope that helps.

yeah its an Astra VXR one

its got the vac take off but the coolant ones are missing

so does that mean the LEH TB doesnt have a cooling facility? then again hot coolant aint gonna make a massive difference lol

thanks for clearing that up - nice simple job

*lets just hope the LEH TB actually works on the LET wiring wise lol

From a wiring point of view they are fine, it'll work just fine. The coolant connection on throttle bodies is actually to warm them up rather than cool them, stops them icing up internally in winter, guess vauxhall decided the VXR's could live without it.

the LET an LEH ones are the same bar the water pipe at the back of it
I just join them up with a small bit of copper pipe an bypass it on the LET engine cars so its like the LEH
