    Fuel Pump EDU..... Help!

    Evening all,

I wondered if anyone knows where I can get a replacement EDU?
I've got a 2000 (on an X) 1.7 dti Astra Van (Isuzu engine)

Its running really sluggish, you've got to give it a real boot full to get it moving, but once you get it revving above 2k it seems better,

I've got a mate who works for the RAC, he plugged into it for me and it threw up:

"P0216- Injection Control Module Voltage Low"

Ive cleaned the EGR valve, Checked the pump timing (as it had a belt not long before I got it) replaced the vaccuum pipes and put an injector cleaner through it, so by process of elimination I've now taken off the EDU, taken it apart, some of the contacts look a bit dry and one seems to be missing. Asked the local Vauxhall dealer who threw a large three digit number at me, then wondered why I couldn't stop coughing! (nearly spat my tea down the phone!)

I bought it cheap thinking it was going to be the EGR valve and therefore an easy fix, but it aint!

So I need to replace the EDU, or recon it, unless anyone else has any ideas because I'm stumped!

    Cheers.

Yeah, looked on there, but not sure whether or not to trust them, surely all they are going to do is whack loads of solder on all the points???? And I won't get any warranty for the work.
Looked at a couple of breakers on ebay too, maybe I can get one from a motor being broken?......... Heres hoping!

if theres solder missing replace it yourself or get a spark to do it for you!

failing that you could try ebay or diesel bob.

I took some photos of what you need to do , will post them in the morning, its a bit balls-out but if you have a soldering iron and can drive it, you'll be fine
