    Bird turd :(

    Hi need some advice please.

Had loads of bird turd on my car so just washed it all off most came off ok but there was massive bit on my front bumper and when i washed it off it has taken off the paint leaving big mark, have tried t-cut but it appears to have removed the laqure off the bumper.

Any ideas what i can use to fix it or will it need respraying?

    Cheers

Im pretty sure you can just tape the area off and re-laquer it?

make sure you sand the laquer edges first and compound the surrounding area to lift off any greace or residue that will make the laquers bonding process hard.

Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to present you with the reason why you should never use T-Cut.

And how long was the bird shit on your car for it to penetrate the paint like that???

    ????

If there's no lacquer on there and you used T-Cut on it you'll have taken the bare paint off.
