    Modified wiring loom...*UPDATE*

Anyone had to have this done?

My car is currently sat in the local garage, with its turbo boost pressure sensor foooobared, but the guy had to ring vauxhall to check the fault code was the correct sensor, and they have told him that it will need a modified wiring loom to be made up and resoldered in place of the existing one.

Problem being, Vauxhall are scratching their heads atm trying to find out what part numbers are required for the loom....it's all beyond me, all I know so far is that the sensor is £120 +VAT, thats without the labour and making the loom up etc.

Bang go this months wages me thinks

    Update on this.

Vauxhall have now sent across the wiring diagram to the garage where they have to replace some of the harness. This will fix the boost pressure problem 7/10 times.

If it doesn't, then the sensor will have to be replaced.

If I can, I will try to get the sheets with what has to be replaced, and attempt to scan them in so others with this problem might be able to do a DIY job and save the nearly £200 its going to cost me.
