    good quality heatshield?

    as 888 is in paint shop and i cleaned engine bay up, thought i treat it to a shiny heatshield as hate those vaux jobbies.
    any ideas where i can get a gd quality one?

    yeah i seen that 2, but didnt look that gd imo. danny u fink its better without, u mean heat will disperse quicker if no shield?

    most people i know are running without there heat shield. the only down side i can see is that it puts more heat onto your rocker cover breater pipe but it hasnt hurt anything else yet.

    dont courtney do a nice shiny one? or regal?

    so is it a good idea to take it off? or is it one of those things where 'it could be, but...' lol i dont wana take it off and then the breather pipe gets too hot etc...

    that what concerned me, whether it would melt breather. but i decided to keep it naked, looks better imo

    Think you can just get away with removing the crossover. The OE sheild has a bolt quite low down though, dunno how hard that is to get to as mine never had one
