If you want esp off then use 25, if its just tc you want off then 31.

Personally I would keep esp on at all times unless you plan to take the car onto race tracks.

    ^^^^ Rubbish ^^^

If your car has ESP and TC you have to use pin 25, if your your car just has TC you have to use pin 31. You get no options as to what you turn off

Without knowing the age of your turbo I couldn't comment but if there's a Red/Blue wire in pin 25 then you need to use pin 31

as per PM Neil - i always just fit it in the unpopulated pin

done 4 or 5 ZLETs like this and each time its worked spot on

the theory being, if it doesnt work in the unpopulated pin then we would cut the new wire and splice/solder it into the other pin which was already populated

even till this day i dont know if the cars (mine included) are TC or ESP!

On my Zaf B Gsi, pin 31 was used (and did some funny stuff when used!), but 25 works a treat. The connector was also the mirror image of that in the "how to" article. The pin was a bugger to insert, and access to all "engine side" work areas was terrible. Nice job once completed and never again to be stuck in snow ruts!
