    Plumbed in Boost gauge and

Its boosting up to around 8 psi then leveling out around 7 psi, now last week i turned down my actuator down as it was showing about 12 threads so would adjusting the actuator back the other way get this up at all?

What turbo are you using? and is the car mapped? If not and its a gsi/coupe it should overboost to 12psi and hold 8-9

Zaffy Gsi, Vxr Turbo, Not Mapped

A couple of weeks ago i noticed my actuator was setup with around 10 threads showing so i wound it down so theres now 4-5 showing and it seems to run better, but would like to get it spot on so would adjusting the actuator any more make a difference?

I think mines got slightly less than 4 threads showing. Have you checked for leaks in the tubing?

I tried it with 4 and the wastegate kept rattling so put it back to 5 threads, no leaks as i checked all pipes a few days ago, but i might replace the vac hoses with silicone to see if it makes a difference.

No not trapped anywhere, Is it worth buying some new silicone pipe and replacing the vx stuff but leaving out the rear bcs and vac box?

Also what size vac pipe do i need? 3 or 4mm?

Im using that clear plasticy stuff that i got with mine atm. You can try replacing the VX stuff with silicon matey you could have a split pipe somewhere. Do you have access to another gauge to try to rule out a faulty gauge?
