i got a screwdriver between the v and the grill and gently persuaded it out, if you're carefull it wont do any damage, and if it does you can just take a bit of scratch to it

Not sure if it's too late but i took mine off and sprayed it black.

Once the grill is off, the V part has small clips you push away on the rear of the grill, the V part will then come away.

The vauxhall badge also has the same thing and this detaches too which makes it even easier to paint!

    Hope it goes well!

It's 6 phillips screws (mine were phillips anyway). It took about 15 mins to get the V off completely without damaging any of the little clip bits, it'll make sense once you see the back of the grill.

    Before

    During (No lacquer)

    After (Lacquered)

Not sure if I like it, but I had spare time, paint and didn't want to buy a grill just yet!

Bearing in mind, i sanded it down roughly, painted straight onto it with no primer or anything! I was on a £0.00 budget and wasn't too bothered about the result, which isnt too bad!
