Yet another F*****g air con problem!

I'm really hoping this isnt serious.

Had new coil fitted to compressor, regassed, worked fine for a while. Right up until i buy a can of Comma air con cleaner because it was stinking to high heaven.
Do it by the book, passenger seat far forward, tilted forward.
Can place behind passenger seat, aircon fans on full, engine running, aircon on, recirculation on.
Push it down and let it run out. Get in the car to take it out only to be overwhealmed by the feeling of warmth. Should be like a freezer when left on for 10-15 mins.
Since doing that my AC isnt working. Clutch engaging fine on the comp, however when i turn the AC off i hear a noise that i can only describe as like a very loud cough for a split second when i turn the AC off.

Rang the specialist and he thinks it could be that the cleaner has got in the 'motors' preventing cold air from blowing. He said leave it overnight to dry out and try it tomorrow.
Is this likely to be the cause because it seems a little far fetched to me, and i dont know much about aircon systems to question him. Looked on the net for Comma air con problems but found nothing
Hoping someone here has experienced the same issues...

    Leicester.
The AC light comes on and comp kicks in, but blows normal 'fan' air, ambient temp air. And makes a cough noise when i turn the AC off. Either a coincidence or the Comma cleaner has knackered something.

Just had a thought, perhaps the cleaner has clogged up the pollen filter?

not too "familar" with the cleaner stuff but its a possibility, and if your air con is cold enough, it could possibly freeze the liquid on the filter i guess... why not just replace the filter though btw? easier/cleaner in the long run to be honest and costs just as much

Change the pollen filter. I had a stinky air con unit a while back, used that air con cleaning stuff from tescos and it just smelt the same. Replaced the pollen filter (which was darker than night), and the smell was instantly gone! Air smelt better / cleaner and flowed better too IMO.

Changed the pollen filter about a month ago. Literally no cold air is coming through at all.
I dont see how the cleaner could cause these issues. It isnt a leak either because the compressor would stop working to stop itself burning out.
I did notice when i started the cleaning process i could hear a fan on, dont know if its the aircon fan or engine fan because i dont know which is which.
The fan rarely comes on but it did. Cant believe the hassle its causing just for working aircon

could your condenser fan have tripped or something? since you thought one was running before and not now?

Why would the fan working or not make a difference to the air being cold ?
