firstly i would wipe them and run the car then see if any reapear m8

    seems allot for one issue..

P0352 is Ignition Coil B Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

    these two:

P0110 - Intake Air Temp Circuit High Input

P0100 - Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Low Input

either the AFM is gubbed or u have the common earth issue, simple fix really if it is the earth prob..

The engine Code is an X18XE1 and X18XE with ECU on inlet manifold.

There is a issue with the solder on the sensors on these cars
which can cause you to have faultcodes P0100 and P0110, and this will throw the EML on sometimes or all the time. replacing AFM wont fix this tho! as i found out ( 3 later ) Also you will sometimes get issues where slowing down to stop the car will stall, this is NOT a idle control valve fault, its the earth issue

what u need to do is the following:

disconect the AFM and move the plug out the way.
pull the plastic back and locate the YELLOW wire.
remove some of the protective cover on the wire ( DONT cut the wire tho ) and connect a new bit of wire on to this. You can either tape, solder or heat shrink it on.
take the other end of wire and on the top of the altinator there will be a 13mm nut. undo this and connect the wire to the thread and retighten the nut...

you should now have sorted the crappy earth you had and the EML will go out..

    JOB DONE..

as a say this has been coverd before ( earth mod i think ) but i didnt have time to search for it and just went and done it

hopefully this helps a few others out..

ps... for long term fixes please solder connections and use corect connectors etc... tape is a bodge way and for temp repair only

The problem is now solved. The car drives well no hesitation and no stalling at idle. The MIL light is off.

    Hi Stu.

Many thanks for your help and advice. I'll do the earth mod tomorrow and then clear the codes and see what crops up.

Regarding the engine code, I could be wrong, but I believe the X18XE changed to the Z18XE in 2000, something to do with EuroZone emissions or some crap.

    Thanks again.

    Thanks again Stu.

The Earth Mod has solved the MAF issues.

Now all I need is a new lambda sensor, and I should be cooking on unleaded. That is unless there are other potential causes for the O2 sensor to show open circuit?
