    rear calipers not right

    having some serious trouble with my back brakes on my 52 plate 1.8 sxi. has recently had new drilled and grooved disks + pads now sound like metal on metal when i brake!!! or pull the hand brake!!! does anybody know whats up it? its fitted with lucas calipers

    Seems like an obvious question but are you sure theyre fitted correctly and tightened up?

    ye brakes fitted by the garage!!! tried changing to different pads and changed carriers no luck trying the disks tomorrow!!

    the pistons in the calipers might be sized on or something, Ive been having the same problems for ages. My passenger side rear caliper was shot.

    I had bosch calipers before, now I have swapped them out for lucas jobbies and upgraded them to VXR rears. Job sorted
