had a read at a few post but all seem to abit different to me.
heres my problem
its the wifes astra 1.6 8 v ls, dont no engine model but its a 51 reg. she said to me a while back that her car stalled when she came to a round about and wouldnt start right away, so i took the car a run but on me driving the car i found nothing.
the turbo is off the road so i have her car, i was driving quiet abit today and on approach to a round about i dipped the clutch and i cut out, took few seconds to start then away it went, came to another juction again cut out.
i pulled over left it to sit for few seconds, it then started no bother and got me up the road no bother.
i cleaned out the throttle body as i done on the turbo but i have read the EGR valve may be at fault.
could this be the case?
and where is it located so i can clean or replace this.
a quick response is needed as she uses the car with my son in it and dont wont her to get involved in any sort of accident because of this.
