how easy is it to spray this grill?

    hi all,

bored of my cross hatch grill, so thought i would try something custom...

so i found this cheapo grill:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vauxhall-astra...item1c1294f24d

how easy would it be to spray that the same colour as the car?

a few coats of primer then a few coasts of paint?

    cheers

All the work is on the prep so anything is worth spraying if your going to do it right. I have no idea about how good you are with spraying of how much you know about the preparation but if it was me i'd give it a go. I've only ever sprayed my bump strips so it gives you an idea on how simple it is. Its a fairly small item too so not too much work involved if it goes wrong

is it the same process for respraying metal? ie use wet and dry then prime etc?

as all the mesh style grills on fleabay are now metal and are around £25.... dont want to pay that and discover it cant be resprayed using the colour coded aerosol cans...
