    Mk4 stereo questions

    Hey guys, anyone know if i can plug an aux cable into the back of the factory stereo? or any cable that would plug into my mp3 player?

    ah ok yea i know the sort of thing, thanks mate, i prefer it to be hardwired tho, guess il just have to buy an aftermarket stereo

    A proper FM modulator breaks the aerial wire so the signal goes direct into the headunit. Something like THIS

    ok cool, kinda expensive tho, i think its probably just worth getting an aftermarket stereo right? can pick em up cheap now and they generally look better too
