    Final result - your thoughts?

Whats your thoughts on the final Result for the General election and our new Prime Minister David Cameron?

I am pretty pleased, I didn't vote for conservatives in the general election but I did in our local election. I voted Lib Dem but I think a bit of both at this stage is a good thing.

glad its finally over and politics can move on in the short term.

It's a good result for now as it might bring back some properly balanced decision making. That was something that was missing during the Blair years due to the massive majority he had.

Gonna be odd deciding who to vote for next time assuming the coalition does a good job.. do you vote Toyry or Liberal, cos there ain't gonna be 'both' box. If they c0ck it up and fall apart through infighting then it will just make labour stronger

lol thats what my missus said.

really hoped the tories would try and go alone, but can see why they have got the libs on side.

was watching the markets whilst it was all unravelling and there was a small drop, which normally means what ever has been said isnt that good.

still find it ridiculous though that a party that came "last" (out of the big 3) by some way, can still have a say in what is going to happen in this country in the coming months.

that said cant see the "coalition" lasting that long.

So now does Cameron gets to pick the best out of his bunch and the Libs to form a new government?

At least his wife looks a nice homely type

    Thatcher mk2 on his way

Personal implications on things I do, Ie shooting, Conservative set off the pistol ban and labour nailed it in the coffin.

They want more rules imposed on air weapons and firearms alike ( don't tell me their bad, cos they aren't )

Conservative effed this area over by putting a massive MDF factory or Kronospan as its known, slap bang in the middle of a beautiful countryside which expels dust, day in day out.
