    Exhaust fitting advice?

    astra G, LS 1.4.. centre section has come away from flange so have brought a new centre section/silencer,

    gonna have a go at fitting this tomorrow after work any advice on whats needed and also do i require a fitting kit or can i use previous thats in place?

    iv never fitted an exhaust before so just after a quick guide really

    thanks alot guys


    im assumings its just a jack up and axel stand on passenger side front and rear, unto 2 bolts holding backbox flange to the centre pipe flange and remove back box, then pull of centre pipe then reverse to fit?

    You'll need a new O ring gasket for the backbox. I would get the fitting kit anyway, it's a bit of a false economy using the old ones.

    i have got the fitting kit mate, just wasnt sure if it was "needed" or if id be returning it

    so you say i might aswell fit the new fitting kit and is it a easy job to do then? and is what i said in my origonal post about right on the procedure on what to do?
