K&N air filter vs Standard (Bosch)

Hello guys, i need to change my air filter as the one that is on, is very dirty.

now i want to know how much of a difference does K&N makes because it's a bout 30 quid dearer.

    thanks.

Diddly all for your car, stick with a new paper one every 5000 miles or so instead and be happier with the improved filtration it offers.

I hollowed out a megaphone, and put a net curtain over it for a filter. Its looks daft but sounds amazing.......

Lots of people hate K&N panel replacements on here, I for one tend to agree with experience so avoided it.

yes and imo the courtenay panels are pipercross with courtenays name on them, they look alarmingly the same. the standard paper filter offers good and safe filtration with a large pleated surface area, hold up a K&N panel to the light and see the gaps in the gauze, it is frightening
