The plan is to go for 1 of these come October ish time so I've been researching what engines to go for. Economy and tax is the main concern here plus the price of the car. I'll be doing a few exterior mods and an ICE install but the space would be for the bikes and, if I get onto the course, carpentry equipment.
Looking at parkers, the tax prices for the DTi 2001-2003 models is £110 per year and for the late 03-04 models is £90. As for the CDTi which is late 03-04 only, £90 per year.
Now I don't mind going for the later DTi model because it would mean I could get the car cheaper and £20 more on tax per year is nothing of my worries. The question I'm getting at is, what are the differences or benefits of the CDTi over the DTi and is it worth going for that version for my needs?
