    in car freeview

    hi,

ive just fitted a jvc 2 part headunit where i have a headunit in the lower slot and the motorised monitor in the top slot, now it dont have built in freeview on the monitor but i was wondering if there was some type of adaptor or something i could add to this to make it have freeview?

    any ideas anyone?

JVC don't do an in-car freeview.
I would reccomend sticking to a decent brand name tuner if you want good reception.
I have the Alpine TUE-T150DV Mobile Digital TV Receiver & the matching KAE-205DV amplified antennae & get good digital reception with it.
The Alpine can be connected to your JVC screen, however you may need to get an extra I/R sensor, I can't remember if one comes with it or not.

Signal will vary if you are on the move, but that's getting better now that the digital switchover is happening.
No manufacturer will guarantee that you will get 100% perfect reception when on the move.
