Back in the astra fold.. well sort of...

I have been looking around for a while for a '1st' car for my 20yr old sister... she has been showing me a few 'modified' or what she calls 'pretty' cars... corsa's and astra's mostly with vxr kits, irmscher kits and JDL rubish.
Every one i went to see had been driven 'enthusiastially' and it showed.
So i have gone out on the sly and bought this...

1 owner from new, full history from the same dealer. Just had full brakes done and full service.

shook hands at £5100. Not the cheapest but the car drove like new and fealt it had many years left in it.

Ok now, i need to make it 'pretty'... Not sure where to start really.

Any suggestions? i dont really think it deserves mroe than £1000.

debadge the rear, tint the windows slightly? get smoked headlights and side repeaters, body coloured front grill and then see if you can get the XP kit... shouldnt cost you too much and then the car will look 'pretty' lol

Nice example of a Mk5 you've got there, very tidy. Personally I'd just leave it as it is...I find the Mk5 dang sexy in stock form, hence why I'm not planning to mod mine.

Bye bye VXR Castle Combe Edition - because it's done more laps of Castle Combe than most Bergs have of the Ring

I would just buy a set of 18" pentas for it, would set the car off a treat.

+1 on the VXR spoiler, and perhaps you could colour code the front grill

    thanks guys

Theres been alot of ironing, breakfasts, and covering me in front of the parents... plus the straight A's in gscse, A levels.. she deserves it.

In standard form its not a bad car... its got the dark headlights, folding mirrors , DAB etc.
any ideas on how to make it ipod nano compatible?

    thanks
