Question Rear speaker cover on 3door removal

Hey every1, im new to this. I have a 3 door 2006 astra sxi. The rear speakers are on the side in front on the rear seats and i want to change them. how do you get the cover off without damaging anything. is it just a pull off thing?

    Thanks.

You need to take out the rear seats & remove the rear quarter panel trim to get at the rear speakers properly.
The speaker grille is bonded to the trim panel.

I think the rear seats have to come out then the panel on the side comes out.
Someone who owns one will explain better.

MK4 and MK5 3 door cars are the same when it comes to removing the rear 1/4 panels. As said above the seats first have to come out followed by the panels

Vauxhall astra mk5 3 door 2006 rear door speakers

I have upgrade vibe speakers, 165mm for front and back, i have adaptors for the front ones as i have took the panel off and can see for myself that i need them.

Things is i dont know if i need adaptors for the back? If any of the guys could help id really appricate it. Vauxhall told me the back holes are 170mm? Everywhere seems to sell 130mm speakers with supplied adaptors? Why can i find 165mm Rear speaker adaptors? do i even need them?

No adaptors are needed to fit 17cm speakers in the back, you just need to drill new holes to secure the speaker

Are the rear speakers the same size in a 3dr & 5dr?

    Are they 10cm?
