    BTCC vs Jason Plato

Does this guy ever stop moaning?

Just heard him going on about tom chilton's ford on itv4. How it has a faster engine fitted. I remember last season Tom chilton wasn't doing too well so good luck to team AON this season.

Seems like it doesn't matter what the problem is, plato always has an issue with someone. Should just enjoy the racing and being paid for doing something you really enjoy doing.

Here is the link to the said engine running lpg http://www.autogridz.com/news/latest...-the-btcc.html

Are team AON breaking the rules? Are there any rules stating that running an lpg engine is infringing on the rules? Seems to me they have managed to nail an impressive engineering achievement by getting lpg into pole position, and some drivers have an issue with this.

Good luck to them i say

Probably the same thing as the double-diffuser in F1, clever interpretation of the rules giving them an advantage, everyone else crying foul because they didn't think of it first.

LPG has been used in the past, but not recently I don't think.

Diesel was used in 2008 IIRC for the Seats in which Plato drove then, not sure if diesel was used in BMW 120 last year, from what I can remember from noise of the car then yes, it may well have been.
